Now that you have selected your new backyard products we need to get them to you. Remember these products are heavy. You are welcome to pick up the items yourself but be prepared to use your muscles and bend your back! (and then you have to do it all over again when you get home)
N.B We will not hand load your box trailer for you, (should we have time, we will help you). We can place pallet loads with the use of a forklift IF POSSIBLE and within a SAFE LEGAL traveling load capacity with the appropriate safety restraints e.g. straps angles etc
At any given time Simons Seconds Pty Ltd reserves the right to refuse to load your vehicle should the customer not comply with safety standards law by NSW work cover and the RTA. Please go to the RTA website for more information and read this PDF. http://www.rta.nsw.gov.au
Personally we believe you should be saving your energy for actually laying the pavers or retaining walls or possibly preparing for the big BBQ you are going to have to show off your new backyard. While you are doing that we can arrange the delivery of your products. Simons Seconds have an in house transport company called President Transport Pty Ltd. President Transport deliver all over the Sydney Metropolitan, Central Coast, Newcastle and South Coast areas. Simons Seconds also outsource business to deliver Australia wide.

Things you need to know about the delivery
- Lead times on orders will be from 5-10 business days.
- Customers do not need to be home to receive orders.
- All deliveries are made to the nature strip/ kerbside only. Specific delivery instructions can be made by the customer, in which event the transport company will make every effort to accommodate these. It shall always be up to the discretion of the
driver, and we ask that you never question the drivers decision. If the driver determines that he can not safely off load the goods due to obstacles and/or safety issues relating to the site, the driver shall place the goods in a safe position. If this position does not suit the customer, the goods will be returned to the point of dispatch at the customer’s cost. It is the customer’s responsibility to provide a suitable and safe vehicular and off loading access.
- You will be contacted prior to advise when you should expect your order to arrive.
- Transport costs are the responsibility of the buyer.

- To delivery your product we run a Semi trailer with Alterain Forklift or a crane truck. In order to deliver your products on a forklift, to drop your pallets we will require 3 Metres Wide & 4 Metres High Vehicle Access
- Customers need to provide safe and adequate access to the site and shall pay for any loss or damage to any public or private property. If the driver has any issues relating to site safety, the driver will request the Customer to sign a disclaimer.
- Customers need to advise of any obstacles the truck driver may face (including, but not limited to one way access, dead end roads, busy streets, battle axe block, grade of slope greater than 13 degrees or any other road restrictions).
- The driver will not travel over paved areas. No deliveries shall be made through a neighbouring property, public or private, without the written permission of the property owner
- Traffic control is required on a main or busy suburban road. It is the Customer’s responsibility to provide appropriate traffic control in accordance with statutory authorities and work cover regulations. The Seller’s driver shall at all times adhere to local, state, federal and work cover regulations.
Cancellation of Delivery
24 hours notice is required to cancel a scheduled delivery.
The customer will incur a $55 cancellation fee.
In the event of cancellation after 24 hours prior to delivery, a full cartage fee for the delivery will be charged as well as the original delivery fee.

Courier Deliveries
Simons Seconds uses various courier companies to deliver smaller and lighter products. If you are receiving a product that is to be delivered by a courier you will need to be at the delivery address to sign for the parcel. If you can not be there please contact us for an Authority to Leave form and leave this on your front door or in a place where it will be seen by the driver so that your item can be safely left. If the courier can not leave your item you may incur a redelivery cost. If this should happen all redelivery costs will be the responsibility of the buyer.
